Wayland High School has announced the hiring of alum Caleb Wolf as new strength coordinator Caleb Wolf.
Wolf, winner of the coveted Japinga Award in 2019 while prepping at Wayland High School, will be in charge of the Wildcats’ summer strength program, as well as the yearly program offered after school.
Old starred in football, swimming and wrestling. Wolf earned O-K Gold all-conference honors in football and qualified for the state meet as a sophomore in the 400 meters and in the 1600 relay.
He joined the Michigan State University football team during the 2021 season.
Wayland’s summer schedule will start on Monday, June 16th,
Advanced Group – 7:00 to 8:30 am (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday).
Moderate Group – 8:30-10:00am (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday).
Beginner Group and Middle School – 10 to 11:30am (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday).
