Inclement weather dominated the scene in West Michigan Tuesday afternoon and evening, as several tornadoes attacked several small communities and Portage south of this area. Allegan County was under a severe weather warning and tornado watch. Damage was widespread, perhaps the worst in southwest Michigan in a long time.
