The Wayland tennis team lost 6-2 to Northview Monday in an O-K Gold Conference match at the Northview courts.

While Wayland came up short in the overall match, Theo Oddy collected his second overall Conference win, taking on the former Wildcat Andrew Hinds at first singles. In the end, after a grueling second set, Theo was able to come out ahead, taking the match 6-2, 7-5.

At fourth singles, Jacob VanDuine had to go another three-set match to collect his third conference win and improve his O-K Gold record to 3-1.

Wayland will take on Grand Rapids West Catholic for their next match Wednesday afternoon at its home courts.
