A celebration of life for longtime Wayland resident Wayne Carpenter Jr. will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, at the Wayland VFW.
Carpenter, a1965 WHS graduate was described as a beloved father, friend and neighbor whose kindness and humor touched everyone who knew him.
A meal will be served, and friends and relatives are welcome to bring a dish to pass, along with a favorite photo or memory to share with family and friends,
