Dennis Andrew Misak of Wayland, 72, died Thursday, June 8, in Kalamazoo.

He was born to Andy and Charlotte Misak on July 16, 1950, in Grand Rapids. Dennis was married to Janice Belka on Feb. 15, 1969.

Dennis was a husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He loved watching his sons and grandchildren race, watching deer at the cabin, boating on Gun Lake, mushroom hunting and playing euchre.

Dennis is survived by his sons Robert(Beth) Misak and Lee Misak, grandchildren Shawn(Katie) Misak, Kaylee(Tyler) Hufford, Lee Jr(Madie) Misak, Clay Smit, Hunter and Preston Misak, great-grandchildren Felix and Gavin Misak, Tyler and Cole Statler, baby boy Misak due to Lee Jr and Madie in August, sister Diane Misak, brothers Gary Misak and Keith Salas.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, wife Janice and infant son Jerry Lee.

Cremation has taken place. The family is asking friends to join them in a celebration of his life from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 8, at the Wayland VFW Hall, 735 South Main St., Wayland.
