Leigh Anne Lagendyk, age 53, died Saturday, May 20.

Leigh enjoyed many outdoor activities, especially traveling to the farm house with her family in the U.P., spending time outdoors, and going on vacation. She also cherished her time shopping with Alex, dining out, watching hockey, and movie nights with the grandkids. Her greatest passion in life was her family and most importantly, her grandkids.

She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Richard “Rich” Lagendyk; children Evan (Carli) Lagendyk, Alexandra (Jaycob Chapman) Lagendyk, Cameron Lagendyk; grandchildren Emberly, Roman, Kain; siblings David (Deb Perrin) Smith, Kelley (Marvin) VanEgmond, Matthew (Jessica Powers) Smith; mother-in-law, Marilyn Lagendyk; and many extended relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Orville and Nancy Smith.

A celebration of Leigh’s life will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday, June 17,at Kelley and Marvin’s residence, 2092 128th Ave., Hopkins.

In memory of Leigh and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
