Renee Marie Bartz, age 61 of Dorr, died Thursday, Nov. 17.
Renee loved to cook, garden, hunt and fish, but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her parents Louis and Carole Bartz; sisters Cathy Lain and LuAnn (John) Stein; four nephews Joshua Lain, Cody Lain, Mitchell Stein, and Colton Lain; one niece, Holly Weick; three great-nephews and five great-nieces
A celebration of Renee’s life will take place with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22, at St. Mary’s Visitation Church (2459 – 146th Ave., Byron Center, with Rev. Christopher J. Derda as celebrant. Visitation with the family will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 21, at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home, Dorr Chapel ,4330 – 18th St., with prayers of the Rosary beginning at 6 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family strongly encourages memorial contributions to Visitation Cemetery Veterans’ Memorial Fund.
