Richard Douglas Jager died at 48 years of age, on July 20 after his year long battle with cancer.

Rick took great pride not only in his family, but in his love of cars, friends, and his work at Freightliner of Grand Rapids. His memory will be carried on  every time his friends and family pick up a tool or run his car down the track.

Rick is survived Michelle and children Kylie, Jake, and Tony; his mother, Donna; sister, Deb; brother, Nick (Nancy); aunt’s, Nancy and Mary; nephews, Ryan, Chad, Travis, Eddie, and Nicholas.

Rick was preceded in death by his father, Ray Jager.

There will be a celebration of life in Rick’s honor from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 19, at the Dorr Moose Lodge (4204 20th St.
