Emily Suzanne Benedict, age 46, of Wyoming, died Tuesday, Jan. 21.
A Wayland High School graduate, Emily loved spending time with her family and loved her children.She was understanding and kind and present with people who needed her and enjoyed helping care for her great nieces and nephews. She enjoyed having fun and socializing with her friends with an amazing sense of humor.
She is survived by her children: Miana Benedict, Skylar Benedict, Olivia Madura; father, Herb Benedict; fiancé, Ray Madura, and his children: Angel, Sheila and Gloria; siblings: Marie (Tom) Groters, Lisa Martinez, CeleJennifer (Tracy) Fields, Melissa McGinley, Joe Benedict; many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Sandra Kay Benedict.
A celebration of Emily’s life gathering will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1,at 1320 Burton Street SW, Wyoming, where family and friends are invited to come together to honor her memory.
