A Celebration of Life service for Connie Lynn Jenkins is scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, April 15, at Dorr Baptist Church, 1504 142nd Ave Dorr. Lunch will follow the service.
A beloved wife, mother, sister, friend and daughter, she was 70 years old. Throughout her life she fulfilled varying roles, including teaching and child care and stitched the hearts of many together.
Connie is survived by her husband of 50 years, Robert Dale Jenkins, her children Amy (John) Modderman, Barbara (Bob) Brown, Tom (Jessica) Jenkins, nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren and one on the way, brothers, sisters and many friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her precious daughter Christina Lyn Jenkins, parents John Briel and Eileen Rutledge.
The Rev. Richard Helderop will officiate at her service Saturday.
