Patricia Gail George, age 82, died Saturday, Oct. 15.

Patricia worked for several years at Moline State Bank, later moving on to Three Rivers Savings and Loan and eventually retiring from Quality Pool Supply in Wayland. In her free time, she enjoyed boating, traveling the country with Charlie, and participating in dance competitions, which they often won.

She is survived by her children Gail (Mark) VerHage, Tim (Tina) George; grandchildren Terry (Natalie) Jones, Brittany (Eric) Batenburg, Heather (Stephen) Wilkinson, Heidi (Kyle) Falkenstein, Ryan VerHage; great-grandchildren Leo, Eve, Landon, Mason, Kaiden, Kaitlyn, Lucas, Hunter, Emmett; and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Charles George and her grandson, Jamie Lee George.

A celebration of life gathering is pending at this time. In memory of Patricia and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Wayland VFW Post #7581.
