Julie K. Kukulis, age 53, died Sunday, March 22.

She was born on March 14, 1967, to Maurice and Ann (Berg) Quaderer. She was a 1985 graduate of Chesaning High School. She married Charles Kukulis on November 5, 1988, in Chesaning.

She worked as an assistant preschool teacher at Little Lambs Preschool, displaying her love and passion of working with kids. Julie truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; chatting with friends and family, women’s Bible study, and spending time with family and friends on the pontoon. Julie had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way no matter what the difficulty of the challenges she was going through. She was truly gifted in being able to, as she would say, “I’m molding you.”

She is survived by her husband, Chuck; son, Steven; daughter, Kelsey; brother, Denny Quaderer; sisters Barb (Quaderer) Klockziem, Karen (Quaderer) Wilcox, and Lynn (Quaderer) Trombly; and nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Julie will be laid to rest at Alaska Cemetery. A celebration of life service and a luncheon will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to Little Lambs Co-op Preschool in honor of Julie’s passion of working with children.
