Kristine “Kristin” Renee Wells, age 58, died at her home in Shelbyville Wednesday, May 10.

Kristin enjoyed crafting, listening to the radio, spending time with her family, and especially spending time with her grandchildren and her many adopted children.

Kristin is survived by her sons Ryan Baughman, Kyle Wells; grandchildren Heidi Baughman, Ryan Baughman, Rayne Baughman, Talia Baughman, Francis Wells, Taya Wells, Elliana Wells, Kayleigh Wells; siblings Keith (Beth) Doezema, Rob Doezema; father, Bob (Pat) Doezema; and many extended family and friends.

Kristin is preceded in death by her mother, Sharon Baughman; stepfather, Leroy Baughman; and ex-husband and lifelong friend, Daniel Wells.

Per her wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Kristin’s life will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 27, at Ryan’s home, 517 W. Elm St., Wayland. In memory of Kristin and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family or the Humane Society of the U.S.
