Christy Jacobsen age 65, of Dorr, died Sunday, Sept. 11.

She was born in April 1957 in Grand Rapids. Christy was a graduate of Wyoming Rogers High School. She was a thoughtful, creative person who could befriend anyone. She enjoyed vacationing in Florida and Hawaii, walking along the beaches collecting shells. Christy’s interests and hobbies included fishing, swimming, fund-raising, volunteering, making crafts, and gardening.

She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Chris; her adult children, Amy and Kevin Wildman, Rick Ipema, Ashley and Roy Gardner; her grandchildren, Codie, Kayla, Julia, Taylor, Madison, Ella, Jaxon, and Dawson; mother, Nancy Hall; brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her dad, Ronald Richard Milanowski.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30. at MKD Kentwood Chapel, 4646 Kalamazoo Ave., Kentwood, with Pastor Dennis Gilbert officiating. A private burial will take place at Blaine Cemetery at a later date.
