Anyone who wants to go to a Wayland City Council meeting at the rear entrance of City Hall now has a much more user-friendly entrance into Council Chambers. A project reconstructing the entrance was completed in November. The work made the entrance compliant with the American Disabilities Act and solved a problem with water leaking into the City Hall basement. Upgrades to the outdated cellar doors were made and a new awning will be installed. Total cost of the project was $27,425, funded through the building maintenance fund using money the city received for leasing a portion of the City Hall building.
