
The Martin High School bowling boys’ and girls’ teams Wednesday defeated Saugatuck at the Rock’n’Bowl Lanes in Wayland.
The Lady Clippers won 28-2 with top scorers Annelise McCarty 158, Jadelynn Hooper 147 and Kendra Goddard 146.
The boys’ squad prevailed 16-14 with high scorers James Gruber 216, Caiden Kuester 210, Brennan Hoyt 133.
Coach Damon Blackburn said, “It has been a long time since the bowling program saw a sweep. It was hard fought, but all teams stayed calm and pulled together to bring home all three victories.”
Next matcher the Clippers will be Monday, Dec.8, versus Parchment at Revel & Roll West.
