Martin High School football team’s post-season playoff semifinal game will be played at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, the Jerry Niehaus football stadium in Chelsea, not far from Jackson along I-94.
The other two semifinalists are Norway and Blanchard Montabella, who will play Saturday afternoon in Traverse City.
The Clippers advanced to the semifinal round Friday night with a 36-20 victory over Climax-Scotts. They will take an 11-0 record into Saturday’s game. Kingston is 10-1, with its only loss a 22-14 verdict to Deckerville.
Blanchard Montabella is 10-1 and it only loss was to Portlan d St. Patrick, 42-16. Norway is 11-0, with its scores this season very similar to Martin’s.
The Clippers are seeking their third state championship in eight-man football in the last four years.
