
Colleen Marklevitz, age 90, died Friday, Dec. 12.
Colleen was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was in many ways the heart of her family. Her life was full of warmth, kindness, and infectious joy that touched everyone she met.
She is survived by her children Michael (Lois) Marklevitz, Randy (Theresa) Marklevitz, Darlene (Victor) Lohroff, and Thomas (Dawn) Marklevitz; grandchildren Kristen (Chris) Nelson, Timothy (Erin) Marklevitz, Rick (Kelly) Vogt, Angela Ferguson, Alena (Thomas) Malkewitz, Jessy (Corbyn) Krzeminski, Jamie (James) Wright, Cody (Megan) Lohroff, Ashley (Joe) Gargagliano, and Brandon (Emily) Marklevitz; 19 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roman Marklevitz.
A time for relatives and friends to visit with Colleen’s family will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 18, at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home – Dorr Chapel (4330 18th St.), with a Rosary at 4 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 19, at St. Stanislaus Church – 1871 136th Ave, Dorr, with visitation one hour prior to mass
