The community of Moline welcomed a good number of local residents and former residents to its sesquicentennial celebration in the down over the past weekend. The festivities included a car show, entertainment, games, a church service and a chance for old friends to catch up with each other after all these years. Moline no longer boasts of a downtown business district that was a rich part of its history, but it still claims one of the biggest softball attractions in West Michigan.

it was the 150th year celebration not the 50th like your report states.
I live in Moline and have for over 30yrs..
I’m pretty sure the top line is Moline celebrates 150th birthday. Might want to check with your optometrist.
Originally, I published 50th by mistake and then corrected it.
What a nice American community. All that fun and not a drunkard tent and or a pot joint. Hey hey my my, perhaps Wayland can learn…….
Sounds like a good place for you to move.
