The Wayland Chamber of Commerce has reported the grocery truck arrived at Harding’s Market, but was short on many items.
• Produce, deli and meat are well stocked
• Eggs — received five cases of eggs
• Daily is a bit light as not all pallets arrived last night.
• Frozen items — they are still waiting on their frozen truck to arrive (currently 1.5 days behind schedule)
• Toilet Paper – 25 cases, plus some single rolls-limit two rolls (please reserve for those in need).
Customers are asked not to bring their own bags. Workers will be bagging, using Harding’s bags to help avoid spreading the virus. No bottle returns are being accepted.
There will be no carry-out service until April 14 in another effort to avoid spreading the Coronavirus, unless help is needed and requested. Customers can use the carts they shopped with to bring groceries out to their cars. They can leave carts in the parking lot. Harding’s designated baggers will be cleaning carts in between bagging groceries.
Harding’s will remain open to serve the community from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. Wednesday morning from 8 to a.m. is targeted for senior citizens only.
