James “Jim” Larabel, age 71, of Wayland, died in his sleep on Wednesday, Dec. 9, after a long struggle with Chronic Obstruction Pulmonary Disease (C.O.P.D.)
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Sherry; his step-children, Debbi (Chris) Haveman, David (Cindy) Kukor, Denise Hill; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Sharon Whitten, step-brother, Thomas Ainsworth; several nieces and nephews.
In accordance with Jim’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private memorial service has been held. Contributions in Jim’s memory may be made to Faith Hospice.
