The Curly Cone Restaurant at Gun Lake plans to expand at its location to include the addition of the Thirsty Buddy bar, which will operate as a separate entity in drinks and food offerings. Curly Cone opened several years ago with a nod to Kirk’s Kurly Kone at the corner of Chief Noonday Road (M-179) and Patterson Avenue. The new Curly Cone is located just to the east of the former ice cream parlor and it already is advertising on Facebook for cooks and wait staff.
