
Daniel Ray Postma, age 72 of Wayland, died Wednesday, Dec. 24, with his devoted wife by his side.
He was born Dec. 27, 1952, to Almer and Jean Postma in Sault St. Marie.
Dan enjoyed his job at Freightliner for more than 42 years. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, biking, paintball, shooting guns and his cannon, fixing and riding quads, spending time up north in his hometown of Rudyard, and cutting and chopping wood. He was previously a certified scuba diver and had a love for all things Skid Steer.
Dan is survived by his wife of 11 years, Theresa; his children, Heather and Ben Coffman, Heath and Rachel Postma, Jordan and Erin Postma, and Jonathan and Kylie Postma; Theresa’s son, Jacob Schultz; 18 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brothers Jim, Sid, and Richard; sisters Shirley, Lorraine, Dorothy, and Carol; precious dog, Stella; and extended family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings Marlene, Mary, and Alvin.
