Brooklyn Cutler, daughter of Doug Cutler, formerly of Wayland, finished first in the girls scratch singles division of the Indiana State Youth Open Bowling Championship. She shot a 660 in her three-game series.
“We were so impressed, as she bowled on old wood lanes and the shot was so dry,” he father said. “She was able to move in and pick up her ball speed, and these were two things we were working on.
“Brooklyn has impressed me so much as her hard work ethic and getting out of her comfort zone and learning to be more versatile and she is doing a great job. Her personal coach Chelsey Klingler has done a great job with Brooklyn and we see the confidence and the fire in her.”
