Work is progressing at the new 21-unit residential complex on the north side of Dahlia Street east of Mill Street that was approved a year ago. The street, labeled “Urban Depot Court” and ending in a cul de sac, includes a private road 30 feet wide between Mill and Garden streets, is being developed by Why Knott Ventures. The development, with pavement now completed, will have private water wells, septic systems and no lighting fixtures on the private road. The 17-plus acre parcel is zoned R-2, medium density residential, so no rezoning was necessary. There are no plans for any sidewalks.
