The blustery, cold and wet weather served as a deterrent Thursday evening for many traditional trick-or-treaters in local neighborhoods, so many speculated that the annual “Hallowed Halls” celebration at Wayland High School would attract a large crowd. There were no official figures presented, but it was believed the warm indoor surroundings for the activity served as a big draw.
