The Michigan High School Athletic Association post-season district basketball tournaments will get under way the week of Feb. 23-27 for boys and March 2-6 for girls.
Wayland and Hopkins both will play in Division 2 and Martin will be in Division 4.
Prohibitive favorites are seen already with South Christian and Otsego in Division 2 girls. However, the seeding will not be done until the regular season comes to an end.
Boys’ Division 2 hoops tourney at Allegan
Allegan (7-9), Hamilton (8-11), Holland Christian (13-6), Hopkins (2-16), South Haven (15-1) and Wayland (6-13).
Boys’ Division 4 hoops tourney at Lawrence
Lawrence (11-9), Benton Harbor Countryside Academy (9-9), Covert (0-15), Martin (5-14) and Watervliet Grace Christian (4-10) and Wyoming Godwin Heights (5-9).
Division 2 girls’ hoops tourney at Grand Rapids South Christian
South Christian (18-0), Holland Christian (12-4), Hudsonville Unity Christian (10-9), Kentwood Grand River Prep (1-13), Wayland (10-5) and Wyoming Godwin Heights (5-9).
Division 2 girls’ hoops tourney at Hamilton
Allegan (4-10), Hamilton (4-12), Hopkins (14-3), Otsego (14-1) and South Haven (9-7).
Division 4 girls’ hoops tourney at Martin
Battle Creek St. Phillip (10-8), Bellevue (2-11) Climax-Scotts (13-5) and Martin (8-7).
