The Townbroadcast editorial last week suggesting the city manager attend Planning Commission meetings was based on inaccurate information.
Townbroadcast editor David T. Young erroneously believed new City Manager Erik Wilson was implementing a new policy to substitute the city clerk for the city manager for being present at those meetings. Mr. Wilson clarified that he will attend Plan Commission meetings and the clerk will as well in an effort to have accurate and comprehensive minutes taken.
So the editor hereby issues a mea culpa to all concerned and will retreat to the late great Gilda Radner’s character on Saturday Night Live, Emily Lotilla, who had a habit of concluding her editorials with “Never Mind.”
