can-stock-photo_csp8758521Elder Law Attorney Caroline M. Dellenbusch will speak on the topic “Dispelling the Myths of Estate Planning and Long Term Care Planning” at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11, at 11:30 a.m. at the Wayland Union Schools Transportation Building, 851 Wildcat Drive.

A luncheon will follow for adults ages 55-plus. Luncheon cost will be $7 per person and include spaghetti, Caesar salad, breadsticks and brownies. Participants must RSVP by calling 269-792-2996 by Monday, Nov. 2.

Dellenbusch’s presentation will cover a number of topics, including how to make sure your wishes will be honored if you or someone you love becomes incapacitated; how to pay for long term care including rules for Medicare and Medicaid coverage; and how to avoid probate of your assets at death. Question and answer period will follow her talk.

NOTE: Wayland Community Education’s Leisure Life is for adults age 55 and older. Monthly activities include bingo, potlucks, guest speakers, game days and field trips.
