Martin Public Schools is welcoming Eric Cameron as new assistant principal at the middle school and high school.

Superintendent Samantha Ball announced Cameron’s hiring this week. He succeeds Bradley Moeller in the position.

“Brad served in the role for one year and has decided that his true passion is to be a classroom teacher, so he resigned from his position to become an elementary classroom teacher once again.”

Moelker also has been boys’ varsity basketball coach at Martin.

Cameron spent the past year as student success coordinator at Fennville High School and he was formerly a teacher at Ionia Public Schools.

He will begin duties July 1.
