Weather researcher and author Dan Cherry will be guest speaker about tornadoes at 6:30 p.m. Monday, April 13, at the Leighton Township Library Community Room.

Cherry over the years has collaborated with National Weather Service offices in Michigan and Indiana, as well as experienced weather researchers studying the Palm Sunday tornado outbreak. His research has been featured on radio, television, in print media, and in online publications.Cherry is a graphic designer who currently lives in St. Joseph County with his family.

The program is presented by Then and Now Genealogical Library of Allegan County and Leighton Township Library.
