Gertrude “Trudy” Kuiper, 88, of Jenison, died Saturday, July 27.

The former wife of longtime Wayland physician Dr. Dale W. Kuiper, she is suvived by her son, Randy Kuiper; many extended family and friends.

Trudy enjoyed playing ping-pong, tennis, golf, and bicycling.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Taeke and Jenny Oppewal; and her siblings, Dorothy, Peter, Don, Jake, Fred and Ray.
