This fire was reported Tuesday evening near the intersection of 124th Avenue and 10th Street, Shelbyville. Witnesses said the blaze broke out in the yard next to the Shelbyville Garage. Six fire departments and several emergency vehicles were summoned to the scene. It was reported that five cars and a nearby shed were ablaze.

Yankee Springs, Wayland and Martin Township firefighters were able to extinguish the fire not long after it was reported.
