Hopkins, Wayland and Martin Fire Departments Thursday evening were summoned to a house fire in Hopkins Township.

The house was located in the 1600 block of 126th Avenue just past 8 p.m. . The owner of the home said the cause of the fire was a wood stove.

The three departments were on the scene for about an hour to put out the fire. There were no injuries reported, but the house was said to be a total loss.
