Peter D. Sneathen, age 77 of Dorr, died Saturday, Feb. 18.

Peter served in the U.S. Air Force and was a flight simulator instructor. He was also stationed in Paris and served as the base French interpreter. Peter enjoyed astronomy, loved to fly and often rented a plane to take his family on flights. He enjoyed golfing and spending time with his family.

He is survived by wife of 50 years, Connie (Hall); his son Peter (April) Sneathen; Tanya (Dantáe) Barden; grandchildren Carter and Parker Sneathen and Kayla and Justin Wustman.

He was preceded in death by his parents Betty Smith (Taggart) and Vincent Smith and his infant son Glen Alan Sneathen.
