Debbie was born in Saginaw on Sept. 8, 1955 to James and Patricia Dye, who preceded her in death. She and her husband Ron settled along the shores of Gun Lake in Barry County in 1986, where they spent many enjoyable summers boating with family and friends.

Debbie enjoyed snow skiing, dancing and traveling in her youth. Later, she became an accomplished golfer, winning the Women’s Club Championship at Yankee Springs Golf Club three years in a row. She also was a talented artist, writer and poet, often creating keepsakes for friends and family.

One favorite gift she shared with her family was a calendar featuring photos and this poem: Our thoughts of each other Though miles apart Are ever and always Close to the heart Our families have grown And blossomed – it’s true So we treasure the moments That life lets us view These days to remember Are moments to share With hope and our love For a happy New Year.

She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Ronald of Wayland, her children Tyler Spaulding of Ypsilanti, Ronald (Katie) Blackmore of Lake Orion, Andrea (Kevin) Giannini of Farmington, Andrew Blackmore of Livonia,  five grandchildren, as well as her brothers Michael (Carol) Dye of Hendersonville, TN, James (Cathy) Dye of Traverse City, Timothy (Becky) Dye of Grand Rapids, and several nieces and nephews and extended family.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Debbie’s name may be made to Gift of Life of Michigan via its website at www.giftoflifemichigan.org

The family welcomes placement of your memories and messages in their guest book online at arsulowiczbrothers.com
