Former Hopkins Area firefighter honored as life saver

Former Hopkins Area Fire Department member Brad Kerber, now serving for Caledonia and Hamilton departments was honored Thursday night at the Caledonia Township Board meeting for his recent life-saving efforts. He and his colleagues responded to a cardiac arrest call, and because of their quick response and training they were able to revive the patient, along with two citizens who provided initial CPR until the crew arrived.
