Barbara Lois (Merbs) Earl of Cutlerville, died Monday, Nov. 10. She was 72.
Barbara was born on Feb. 8, 1953, in Allegan, to Joseph and Madelyne Merbs (Rewa). She attended Hopkins Public Schools. She was a stay-at-home mom and devoted her life to serving Jesus Christ.
She was active in teaching Sabbath School Classes, VBS, Pathfinders, and served as church treasurer.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Earl, her parents, two sisters, Josephine Merbs and Janet Nelson, and brother James (Jim) Merbs.
She is survived by seven siblings, along with her children: Jason Francis (Frances) Earl, Elaine Dawn (Tedd) Schaap, and Joseph Mason (Jessica) Earl; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
