Chalk artist Tess Tobolic Marhofer, formerly of Wayland, was a featured artist last weekend at this year’s Tempe Festival of the Arts Chalk-A-Lot-Street fair in Tempe, Arizona. She created an original piece to follow the fall 2018 festival theme “I inspire…” She is shown here with her husband.

I know from reading Townbroadcast that Tess is gifted in chalk art. But she is also much more than that. I have seen only a small bit of her other talents – medical illustrator, for one – and I wish I had known she was here in AZ so that I could have made contact with her. This young woman is an artistic force to be reckoned with.
