Ronald Leo Gulch Sr., 85, died at his home in East Grand Rapids Sunday, Aug. 25.

Ron Sr. enjoyed watching sports, especially the Lions and Tigers. Ron served his country in the United States Army. Most importantly, he enjoyed spending time with his family, particularly his grandchildren.

He will be remembered by his children, Nikki (Ken Droski) Outhier, Ronald Leo Gulch Jr.; grandchildren Logan, Liam, Brody; sisters Elsie Prince, Jeanette Kaseta; sister-in-law, Phyllis Gulch; and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Gulch; parents Gus and Elsie Gulch; brothers Walt, Frank, John, Phil, Steve, Ed, Bud, Jim, Tom; and sisters Carol, Jean, Emily, Evelyn, and Christine.

Per his wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time.

In memory of Ron Sr. and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choosing.
