The Wayland High School girls’ basketball coaching staff will have a couple of new faces on the coaching staff this winter, but the moves all involve WHS graduates.
Former Wildcat Chloe Coughlin Dykstra has joined the team as new junior varsity coach, succeeding longtime mentor Coralie Miller, and another former Wildcat standout, Maddy Terry, will take over as freshman coach. Terry was point guard for Wayland before joining the Olivet College hoops squad three years ago.
Head coach Wes Hudson said now former freshman coach Ternor Hudson has decided to resume his collegiate academic studies after giving six years to the local program. Ternor and Wes Hudson also are former Wildcat hoopsters.
