Therese “Tess” M. (Olesnevich) Wykoski died Tuesday, March 13. She was 72.

Born Oct. 17, 1945, Tess started out as a hairdresser in Grand Rapids, but will be remembered well for her years as being owner of Souper Bowl Restaurant in Dorr, as well as her many years as a caterer in the area. Most recently Tess enjoyed her role as a caregiver to the elderly, allowing them to remain at homes.  Tess helped and served many people throughout the years making friends along the way.

She is survived by her husband, James; children Edward Wykoski; Ann (Jeremy) Biesbrock; John (Kristin) Wykoski; grandchildren, Jake, Everly Biesbrock; Eli, Lucy, Charlie Wykoski.

She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph Sr. and Stella Olesnevich; her siblings MaryAnn (Harold) Silva; Joseph Olesnevich Jr; her father and mother in-law, Ed “Speed” and Marlene “Lily” Wykoski; sister and brother-in-law; Sandy (Albert James) Decker.

The family will receive relatives and friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, with Rosary at 2 p.m. at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Services, Dorr Chapel, 4330 18th St., Dorr. Funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday March 22, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church 1871 136th Ave. Dorr..
