Caroline Kozin died Monday, Jan. 3, at her home in Martin. She was 99 years old.

She was born April 14, 1922, in Detroit, to Levi and Molly (Bredow) Sproul. On May 29, 1943, she was married to Burdette “Bud” Kozin in Detroit.

Caroline enjoyed reading, quilting, sewing, crocheting and following the Detroit Tigers. More than anything she loved her Lord and her family. She was a longtime member of Friendship Wesleyan Church in Plainwell.

Surviving are her children, Janis (Dan) Sisco of Richland, David (Linda) Kozin of Pennsylvania, Jonathan (Karen) Kozin of Fruitport and Susan (Reed) Mosier of Martin; daughter-in-law, Cindy (Mike) Waletzko; six grandchildren, Julie (Parry) Miller, April (Storm) Hiscock, David (Missy) Kozin Jr, Natalie (Louis) Hanemann, Jonathan Mosier and Joel (Brenda) Mosier; 11 great grandchildren; and a great-great granddaughter; several nieces and nephews.

Caroline was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; four brothers and a sister.

Friends may meet with Caroline’s family on Saturday, January 8, 2022 from 2-5 P.M. at the Winkel Funeral Home, Otsego.

A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 9, at the Friendship Wesleyan Church with Pastor Kevin Smith officiating. A private family burial will take place at Ft. Custer National Cemetery.
