Shirley Lee Commons 
(Tubergan), 59, of Burnips, died Friday, Oct. 16.
Born July 31, 1956, she now joins her mother and father, Bill and Bee Tubergan, as well as her sister Patty Tubergan and her dearly missed friend, Sandra Lynn.
Shirley is survived by her two daughters, Connie Commons (Therman Ezell) and Christie Commons (Russell Elenbaas); three granddaughters, Taylor Elenbaas, Olivya Ezell and Ava Ezell; her very best friend, Elaine (Funk) Kimber; her sisters Linda (Leo) Brenner, Sally (Terry) Genther, Nancy (Carl) Perry, Susie Lowe, and her brother, William (Vonda) Tubergan.
Friends may visit with her family from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday Oct. 20, at the St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Dorr. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. at the church with Pastor Stephen Otto officiating. Interment will follow at Salem Township Cemetery.
Donations in memory of Shirley may be made to her family for expenses.
