Cherokee Lee Stoffers, 22, of Hamilton, died Friday, May 4, at Metro Health Hospital after a brief illness.

Born July 31, 1995, she was the daughter of Ronald James and Rebecca Sue (Stoffers) Miller. Cherokee was the proud mother of Skyler Stoffers. Her whole world centered around her little boy and he never was without an endless supply of his mother’s love and affection.

Besides her parents and her son, Cherokee is survived by her brothers, James Miller and Matt Miller; great-grandfather, Frank Wanegeshik; her great-grandma Virginia Miller; grandparents, Wanda Stoffers, Marge and Roger Greeley, and Ron and Karen Miller; aunts and uncles, Kathy Milan, Rob and Joy Miller, Mary and Walt Robinson, Roger and Tracey Greeley, Mark and Cindy Greeley, David Greeley and Julian Kratochvil, Steven and Corri Meyer, Fred and Terri Meyer, Robert and Serina Meyer, and Therese and Marv Lyons; many great-aunts and uncles, cousins and friends too numerous to list.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Wayne Stoffers; and her uncle, Robert Stoffers.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 10, at Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel. A memorial service will take place at the funeral home at 11 a.m. the following day, Friday, May 11, with Pastor Leonard Schildroth officiating. Interment at Maplewood Cemetery will take place at a later date.
