Richard Earl Harroun III, age 64, died Tuesday, Aug. 14.

Rick was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to duck hunt, camp, boat, and fish. Most of all, Rick loved spending time with his family.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Chris, of 30 years; children, Amparo “Lina” (Brian) Akey, Osbaldo “Frank” (Holly) Henderson; grandchildren, TJ Akey, Kaylee (Austin) Lake, Jessica Akey, Brian Akey, Cisco Earl Henderson; great-grandchildren, Rumer Akey, Ayden Lake, Ezralyn Lake; siblings, Dan (Christine) Harroun, Layne Gregory, Sara (Mark) Wierenga; nieces, Britini Gregory, Stephanie Harroun; nephews, Alex Harroun, Josh (Trista) Harroun; mother in law, Angeline Gutierrez; step mother, Mona Harroun; and many other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Richard Harroun Jr. and Sally Harroun; grandson, Julian Henderson; father-in-law, Guillermo Gutierrez.

Visitation with the family will be held from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 22, at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home, 312 N Main, Wayland. Memorial Service will be held immediately afterward at the funeral home. Pastor Larry Miller will be officiating
