Suzanne Marie Kasper, 53, of Dorr, died at home Thursday, July 28.

She worked for more than 30 years at Metro Hospital. She loved going to concerts, sporting events, feeding birds, and gardening. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 32 years, Randy; children: Brandon and Alicia Kasper, Zachary and Hanna Kasper, Mackenzy (David Harris) Kasper; grandchildren: Eli and Brody Kasper; parents: Michael and Sandee Word, Ozzie and Judy Kasper; siblings: Michelle and Dave Velzen, Rob and Pam Word, Jessica and Brian Peterson, Irene Heiler; brother-in-law: Scott Kasper; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Her funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 1, 2022, at MKD Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Kentwood, with Pastor Dan Farnol officiating. Burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may visit the family Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Faith Hospice.
