Phyllis Minnaar Fris of Dorr died Tuesday, Dec. 12, after fighting ovarian cancer for 12 years.

Phyllis is survived by her husband, Phillip, who was with her to the end; children, Bill(Kitty) Fris, Theresa (Cristo) Flores, Phil(Alicia) North, Renee Fris; step-mother, Mina Minnaar; brothers, Fred (Carol) Minnaar, Glenn Minnaar; sister, Bev Vanderschuur; nine grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and her best friend Marlene Sal.

She was preceded in death by John and Betty Ritsema, Peter and Doretta Minnaar, Ryan Minnaar, Kim Minnaar, Dan and Iris Wright and Mason Hoskinson.

Visitation with the family will be from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 18, at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Services, 4330 18th St., Dorr. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 19, at LifeChange Community Church, 3014 Newell St, Dorr.

In honor of Phyllis, contributions may be made to Hospice of Holland.
