Kenneth Detwiler, age 61, died Saturday, May 19.

Ken strived to serve the Lord and spread His word wherever he went. He was also a family man, a friend to many and an avid outdoorsman. Ken also loved working at his last job at Digital Tool & Die.

He is survived by his fiancé, Julie Kalmink; children, Arianna (Jeff Holland) Detwiler; one grand-baby to be; mother, Sharron Detwiler; father, Stanley (Georgia) Detwiler; siblings, Laurie (Dave) Paro, Melody Decker and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his son, Kenneth Detwiler Jr.; grandparents Stanley (Laura) Detwiler, Chester (Dorothy) Smith; many close friends and his four-legged companion, Mitsy.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Services, 4330 18th St, Dorr 49323. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 24, at LifeChange Community Church, 3014 Newell St, Dorr, with visitation from 10 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service. Pastor Steve Jones will be officiating.

In honor of Ken and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to LifeChange Community Church.
