Annette Weingate , age 56, of Dorr, died Wednesday, Sept. 12.

Annette was a very kind and giving person and touched so many lives. She retired after 35 years of service from Keebler/Kellogg’s. Annette participated in nine National 24-Hour Challenges (2,741 miles ridden). She loved celebrating Halloween and volunteering with Santa Claus Girls.

She is survived by her children, Tyler (Emily) Bancino and Jennifer (Jacob Ball) Bancino and Luna (grandpup); her mother, Rita Weingate; her siblings, Caroline (Randy) McCarty, Diana Weingate, Mike (Jan) Weingate, Joyce (Steve) Blood, Anthony (Cindy) Weingate, Theresa (Rich) Paiz, Joan (Lewis) Mapes; many nieces and nephews and great-nieces, great-nephews and many special friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Weingate.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, 9408 Wilson Ave. SW, Byron Center, with Msgr. William Duncan celebrant. The family will receive relatives and friends Monday from noon to 2 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Cook Funeral Home, Byron Center, 2067 84th St. and one hour prior to mass Tuesday. There will be a Rosary held at 6 p.m. Monday.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Santa Claus Girls.
